The Client: G8 Summit
The Need: A high-volume shelter (Approximately 6000 sq. ft.) to be used for part of the 2002 G8 Summit. It needs to be easy to transport, setup and finally break-down and remove. It must be safe, durable and weatherproof. Because of the immense footprint, there should be adequate airspace within the enclosure for healthy ventilation and airflow. The enclosure should have a professional, finished appearance (foreign dignitaries and industrialists would be the attendees) and it has to be secure. Because the meeting is to take place on an airport tarmac, the shelter must be adaptable to rough or inconsistent footing. The Solution: Provide a white Exhibition Shelter with black trim, to create a professional and secure environment for the G8 Summit. The rough surface of the tarmac was not an issue, as the Shelter automatically conforms to even the most unforgiving grounds. Because the Exhibition Shelter takes only minutes to unload, install and inflate, the majority of the setup time could be used to include the elegant finishing touches within: white tablecloths, vases and flowers at every table, finished indoor toilets, Internet access. The G8 Summit was a major success due in large part to the benefits of the Inflatable Exhibition Shelter:
It's Secure -- the Shelter's design made Security's job a breeze.
