Its metal-free design is Blast-Rated, offering protection in situations that continue to be volitile (e.g., damaged gas lines). If a disaster occurs during harsh weather, the igloo form can withstand 90+ mph winds and repels snow and rain. All materials are extremely durable and fire resistant.

The modular shelters allow ERV's to be constructed in multiple configurations allowing units to evolve with the stabilization process - from triage to bedded shelter to storage - from emergency info center to child care center.
